Melvin Chellaram was promoted to Area Manager on the 1st December 2009. For the previous 14 years he was the Assistant UN Sales Manager & Sales Executive for the French Team where he was responsible for the preparation of quotations, tenders and processing orders.

Melvin joined TGS in September 1995 having graduated from Oxford Brookes University, England with a BA (Hons) degree in European Business Studies. He started as a member of the freight and logistics section and was responsible for freight and administration issues relating to the export of spare parts.

He has participated in trade exhibitions including the DIHAD show in Dubai 2006 and has visited clients in in Italy, France, Belgium, Luxembourg and the USA.

He is very knowledgeable in IT matters.

Melvin is multilingual speaking English, Spanish and French fluently.

After completing a degree at the Faculte ESST in Lyon, France in Languages and Administration. Laure spent 7 years working in Barcelona, Spain as an Export Administrator and a Sales Export Assistant.

When she moved to Southern Spain she was looking for an opportunity to put her skills and experience in the area in the area of administration and languages to good use.

Laure joined TGS in March 2003 and formed part of the Freight team for nearly 3½ years where she supervised a group of 5 team members.

She has now joined the French sales desk where her language skills (as a French national she is fluent in French, Spanish and English) will be put to good use.
