Jan is a German national and joined TGS in November 1994 with the task of developing the German speaking market. He graduated from University of Pforzheim with a Masters in Business and Management and a degree in the Didactics of French as a Foreign Language from the university of Montpellier in France.

Before joining TGS, Jan worked in the procurement department of Bosch in Germany, and then gained first-hand experience in international trade with a computer company in Montpellier, France. His engagement to a Gibraltarian girl brought him to Gibraltar.

Since he joined he was given extra responsibilities with the tasks to develop the Danish and Swedish markets. His field trips include Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, Namibia, Kosovo and Bosnia.

After successfully completing his A-levels at school, Jonathan joined the company in September 1998 as a Spare Parts Administrator. He moved onto the Customs Clearance section for a period of 2 years. In April 2004 Jonathan was promoted to Parts Sales Executive, which involved the selling of spare parts and accessories to the English, French and US markets.  After having demonstrated excellent customer service and dedication, Jonathan was promoted in December 2009 onto the vehicle sales department under the German sales team who are responsible for selling vehicles to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark and Sweden.
