Oscar joined TGS at the
beginning of 1997 having spent 25 years in the field of procurement
and logistics. Initially he worked for the private sector in Britain
and then moved into governmental agencies, the UN and International
Aid Organisations. His field postings include Cambodia, Thailand,
Singapore, Mozambique, South Africa, Namibia, Sudan, Kenya, Ethiopia,
Gambia, Senegal, Leeward Islands, Nicaragua, Colombia, Chile and Uruguay.
Professionally qualified in procurement, he is a long-standing member
of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply. He brings to
the team a buyer's perspective and a deep understanding of field operations
which enables TGS to provide a level of service tailored to meet the
needs of UN operations. |

Born and educated in Gibraltar,
Piers joined TGS in September 2007 as a member of the UN sales team,
having graduated from Kingston University, England with a BEng (HONS)
Degree in Automotive Engineering . Piers previous experience includes
working for Land Rover in the UK where he specialised in worldwide
vehicle sales to the humanitarian sector including the UN.
Piers brings a wealth of technical knowledge to the department,
he also previously participated in numerous trade exhibitions, customer
visits, off-road courses and factory tours. With this experience
on board Piers hopes to build long lasting relationships with UN
agencies worldwide and believes that customer service is the key
to achieving this.

Desiree joined TGS in
2001 as a member of the Administration department. Since then she
has quickly built up her knowledge of the TGS database and information
systems. She has also been responsible for documentation on all UN
vehicle sales, as well as co-ordinating all administration issues
relating to the export of vehicles and spare parts.
Prior to this, she worked for a multi-national beverage company as
Export Sales Co-ordinator.
In January 2004 Desiree's hard work and loyalty were rewarded with
a promotion to Sales Executive in the German Sales Team, where her
duties included the preparation of quotations and the processing
of orders.
Desiree transferred to the UN Sales Team in December 2009. |
