The vehicles which support emergency operations have to be equipped with leading-edge communications equipment as they will probably be operating in zones without infrastructure and they will have to be ready for immediate and effective deployment into any operational field situation. The following equipment is considered by the Swedish Rescue Service to be essential and is fitted by TGS:

HF and VHF mobile communications
Cap Sat data transmission and satellite tracking system
fax machine
2nd battery to cover for extensive use of communications equipment

In addition to the above, TGS fit the following accessories in order to increase the overall practicality of the vehicle:

vehicle alarm and immobiliser
multi-t-lock transmission lock
flexible map lamp
4 additional working lamps
safety cargo guard for transportation of dogs
strobe lights with power supply
electric winch
tow bar
