Bioforce and TGS combine to train future field
workers and their respective teams.
From the 26 to 30
May 2008
Over 90 Bioforce field logisticien trainees were educated on the
latest Toyota 4x4 vehicles, primarily the new Land Cruiser 76 model.
The training took the form of practical workshops organised by both
TGS and Bioforce.
A combined operation within aid relief Bioforce and TGS’s
partnership stems from their main and common objective : adapting
the training of future humanitarian key workers to technical changes
found locally in the field.
During the week, the students benefitted from two key practical
workshops:
1) Off-road driving techniques
2) Basic maintenance and vehicle recovery techniques.
Day 1 of the training was filmed by a production team carrying out
a documentary film.
With the presence of NGO technical managers,
during the week ‘s two-part training, efficiency was the key
factor and was at the heart of the workshops.
