Welcome

Welcome to the first edition of WEBNEWS - our bi-monthly newsletter dedicated to providing a greater insight into TGS's activities. In this exciting addition to the website you can find out more about TGS's achievements and innovations, as well as the people that make it all possible. As offcial supplier of ex-stock 4x4 Toyota vehicles we are proud to serve the Humanitarian Aid Community worldwide, but our commitment goes far beyond just selling vehicles.

In our regular Spot-light interview we ask staff members to tell us about their experiences working with TGS. The trivia boffins among you will enjoy the Did You Know? feature.

Already this year, TGS was present at the DIHAD 2009 Exhibition - read on for a personal account form one of our delegation members. TGS plans to attend other exhibitions this summer, such as the AID & TRADE exhibition to be held in Washington D.C and an Off-Road Event in Baltimore, Maryland.

AS mentioned earlier, TGS does more than sell cars. Last month, the company delivered a truck-load of school equipment to the Regent Rural Primary School in Sierra Leone. We want our customers to get the most out of our vehicles, and this is why we work in partnership with some of the best off-road equipment providers. A case in point is radio telecommunications equipment supplier CODAN, with whom TGS enjoys a long-term partnership. This close relationship proved crucial in assisting one of our customers in Afganistan.

While browsing our website you may have noticed we have a new stretcher option available. But have you ever wondered which of our ambulance conversions is the best one for you? Our Workshop Manager offers some advice.

The past few years have seen a considerable increase in the number of personnel employed by TGS. As a result, the company decided to take part in the Investors in People pilot scheme, to ensure that all employees benefit from the advantages of working in a modern and dynamic organisation.

We hope you find this edition of WEBNEWS enjoyable.
