LONG TERM RELATIONSHIPS

| TGS received a call for help by e-mail via the CODAN radio all the way from Afghanistan. The vehicle had developed starting problems, and was some 15 hours drive from the nearest mechanic, working at an altitude of 3000 metres in temperatures reaching a life-threatening -24° C. Thanks to an exchange of e-mails, sent through the CODAN radio, TGS was able to diagnose the problem and pass instructions to the vehicle’s operator. A 10-minute repair of the wiring system soon had the vehicle up and running once more - much to the relief of the aid worker. Needless to say, he was very pleased with the help he had received from TGS, which enabled him to drive back to civilisation. TGS is very happy to provide such assistance, which we believe demonstrates our commitment to long term relationships with our customers. |
