4x4 Test Drive Event in Baltimore, Maryland – U.S.A.

| On the 8th, 9th & 10th July, TGS returned to Baltimore for the third time to organise and run a vehicle presentation and test drive event.
Building on our very positive experience from events held here in 2001 and 2002, Baltimore was the chosen venue not only for its excellent facilities, but also for it’s close proximity to the nation's capital and ease of access for many NGOs, GOs and UN organisations. We took four vehicles to the event: Land Cruiser 200 Series GX Diesel; Hilux Double Cabin; 76-Series Hardtop and the Prado VX. All the vehicles had special options fitted, such as winches, bullbars and roll cage. These were used to demonstrate how we customise vehicles to suit every requirement. The day kicked off with a welcome reception and brief classroom lesson in Off-Road Driving, this was followed by a presentation on each of the TGS models, moving swiftly onto an outdoor winching demonstration. The rest of the day was spent driving through woods, creeks and a specially designed obstacle course in each of the different vehicles. Most of the participants had never been fortunate enough to drive the vehicles they regularly purchase and judging by the extremely positive feedback, the opportunity was highly appreciated. All participants agreed that it was a worthwhile experience getting behind the wheel and test the vehicles off-road - where they belong. Such events are an excellent opportunity to meet key TGS personnel and obtain hands-on experience with our vehicles and accessories. This type of exercise also gives TGS the chance to gain valuable customer feedback concerning products and services with a view to continuous improvement. Judging by the feedback received, it was an extremely enjoyable event!
