TGS continue to work on providing preventative and basic maintenance training, vehicle familiarisation and off-road driving experience direct to customers in different parts of the world. This much-needed exercise is greatly appreciated by customers and gives TGS the chance to gain valuable feedback concerning products and services with a view to continuous improvement.

Following on from the success of events held in Germany and U.S.A. in 2001, TGS (together with the Swedish Rescue Service Agency) have recently organised a 3 day event in Sweden which provided training to delegates from all over the Scandinavian region.

Almost 50 delegates participated in this event consisting of representatives of many of the most prominent NGOs in Scandinavia.

The intensive day of training offers customers the opportunity to learn more about the TGS service, our vehicles and how to drive them off-road. TGS provides key models from the Toyota range for familiarization and driving experience. In addition to this, there are a number of presentations, demonstrations and static displays including a variety of popular accessories. We also have guests from WARN to demonstrate their winch equipment and CODAN to present their New Generation Transceiver HF communication equipment.

All participants in the Swedish training event were impressed with the performance of the Toyota models and their ability to cope with tough off-road conditions.
