French Off-Road Training Seminar

Building on the success of similar events in Germany, Sweden and the USA, TGS once more took its show “on the road” in the first week of April.

Over the course of a week, we ran two training seminars for a number of key NGO and UN customers in the French town of St Laurent de Chamousset close to Lyon.

Each training seminar was scheduled over 2 days and comprised detailed instruction in the following key practical areas:

winching techniques
Codan HF communications techniques
4x4 driving on both medium and difficult terrain
exterior and interior vehicle control
basic vehicle maintenance
use of key accessories

6 TGS team members were present at the event as well as 5 TGS demo vehicles to ensure all participants had a chance to get to know in some detail the key features and characteristics of the TGS stock model line-up.

Many of the participants had some previous experience with the Toyota models at the event but were never the less happy to re-acquaint themselves as well as enjoying the detailed instruction received on the other themes of maintenance, winching and Codan communication techniques.
