| The Freight Team |
| |
 |
|
| With shipments
averaging at 300 vehicles every month, not to mention the continuous
deliveries of Toyota spare parts, the TGS Freight Department is
crucial to the overall success of the organisation given that delivery
to end destination is an integral part of the TGS service.
The coordination of the entire freight operation
is carefully managed by a team of six and requires constant liaison
with the Workshop Controller to establish vehicles' state of readiness,
daily bookings with shipping lines and freight forwarders, constant
updates of sailing schedules and prices for the TGS Sales Team,
daily customs declarations, vehicle transporter bookings, documentation
verification and, of course, extensive post-shipment tracking.
In all, the TGS Department makes every effort
to ensure all angles are covered when it comes to delivering your
vehicle to its destination and relies on a wealth of experience
to ensure every possible eventuality is covered to guarantee a safe
delivery to any part of the world. |
