The TGS Marketing Team's mission is to be recognised
by the UN and NGO community as the number 1 provider of marketing
support in the humanitarian aid supplier market.
Whilst the mission itself is simple, the challenges which it offers
are great due to the worldwide nature of the work of the humanitarian
aid community. How can we best "spread the word" about
the TGS service when most of our customers are operating on a global
scale. We are lucky in the sense that we have many satisfied customers
who sing the praises of the TGS service on our behalf.
The TGS website, the TGS product guide, the TGS stock models DVD,
Aid & Trade and DIHAD exhibitions, new product introduction
events, special promotional materials, marketing support materials,
advertising - all these elements are used to help reinforce TGS's
position within the worldwide UN and NGO market. Of course the most
important aspect of the role of the Marketing Team is the way in
which it strives to listen to our customers feedback and comments
in order to continuously improve upon previous efforts. This is
achieved through working in very close cooperation with the TGS
Sales Teams which forge such strong partnerships with customers.

Michael McElwee
Marketing Manager
Michael joined TGS in 1992 with several
years of commercial experience to his name after successfully
completing a BA Honours degree in International Marketing
at the University of Greenwich, London.
Michael is responsible for the smooth running of the Marketing
team and ensuring that the quality of their output is constantly
improving in order to maximise the "value-added"
effect the department can have on the overall success of TGS.

Stephen Wong
Marketing and Graphics
Stephen was born in Gibraltar - his parents
are from Hong Kong and emigrated to the Rock after living
in England for several years. He studied at the London College
of Printing in England where he was successful in gaining
a degree in Graphics and Media. Initially he worked for two
and half years in the Middle East for an advertising
agency, then arrived back in Gibraltar where he gained further
experience in various locally-based design agencies.
Stephen joined TGS in December 2000
as part of the Marketing Team. His skills as a graphic designer
have provided a bench-mark for all the marketing efforts and
support for both internal and external clients. In addition
to this, his eye for detail and photographic talent have produced
many of the images which have so faithfully represented the
essence of the products which TGS supplies and the services
which make TGS unique.

Andrew Flynn
Marketing and Graphics
Andrew graduated from Leeds University in
1999 with a BA Honours degree in Graphic Design. After completing
his degree he worked in Nottingham, UK, for 3 years before
moving to Gibraltar in 2003.
Andrew joined TGS in July 2003 as a Marketing
Assistant, a position he still holds within the company. Andrew’s
roles involve updating the TGS website regularly, producing
adverts, TGS product information, attending exhibitions and
off-road training events. He is also involved in the photography
at these events which is then used extensively in all the
TGS marketing support media such as website and product guides.
Andrew is also responsible for the procurement and evaluation
of promotional goods that TGS use in support of sales activities.
